During their early days, they spend hours doing battle rap for fun, and then quickly it became their outlet of their self expressions. Formed in 1990‘s at first they name themselves as “Triangulo” and later change it to Crazy as Pinoy when they joined and won Eat Bulaga’s Rap Public of the Philippines Grand Champion in 2002, they released their self-title album in 2014, spawning songs such as “Tayo Pa Kaya” and their Awit Award-winning song, “Di Sinasadya“. The group was also part of the two volumes of Rappublic of the Philippines with the songs “Crazy Dance“, “Huwad” and “Panaginip“.
Rap-public of the Philippines which aims to discover new talents, and it introduce us to talents such as Crazy as Pinoy, 3yoDorobo, Kamandag ng Marikina, Koponan ni Batute, Stick Figgas among others.
they were included in Rap Public all star track titled “Sama-sama” including 3 Pinoy rap legends Francis M, Andrew E and Michael V.
in they release their 1997track under BMG Records Pilipinas Inc, “Huwad” official music video that gains 1,107,375 views in youtube.
in June 2015, they re-release a new music video of “Tayo pa kaya” that gains 441,848 views in youtube. Under MCA Music, Inc. A copy of the original music video can still be seen on youtube which cited produce by Row Four Production Crew and that video has 2,314,679 viewsthat video was uploaded Jun, 2010.
In July, 2019 they release a live performance (Acoustic version) of “Panaginip” that has 3,060,033 views in their youtube channel.
In April 2021Sisa realsed a solo ballad version of “Panaginip” that gains 172,020 views in her youtube channel.
In Feb 2023, they performed a live version of “Panaginip” in Wish 107.5 Bus, that reminded everyone that they can still perform, and that the group is getting better as time goes by, as it went viral, fans of 90’s rap rejoices while it also introduce them to the younger audience, it also proves that their track is still timeless as it gains 1 Million views in 3 days upon uploading, and as of late gaining a whooping 11,617,541 views and still counting.
Crazy as Pinoy put a indelible mark in the rap scene, they inspire many artist, which includes “Lil Sisa“, and the creation of Crazyfamily, the trio always have a perfect combination of voice, wits, and talent, specially the banters they incorporate in their songs living their moniker “Crazy” that everyone loves.
